From The Literacy Link to The Link Development STL.
The Literacy Link was founded in 2011. The Literacy Link has successfully supported schools across the nation to meet their building and district goals. Through professional development and on-site support, The Lit Link focused on improving teacher instructional effectiveness and most importantly student achievement. Through the years, The Literacy Link has provided development and support beyond just literacy. As the need increases, we have decided to grow too! The Literacy Link is now re-branding and merging with a partner as The Link Development STL. The LINK provides a range of services that schools and districts need to continue to meet the needs of all of their students and teachers. From literacy and math support to district wide strategic planning, we will LINK student achievement outcomes and instructional effectiveness.

Jessica has experience in many different roles, such as teacher, principal, district administrator and a national trainer. Jessica has a degree in early childhood, a masters in Elementary Administration, and a doctorate in Education Administration. Jessica has strength in building programs and resources to promote teacher and student success. Jessica fosters teacher collaborations through workshops and professional development as well as hands on support in the classroom. She has a proven history of developing, implementing and managing educational improvement initiatives to meet learning objectives. With Jessica's wide range of experiences, she has the ability to support teachers, students, and schools within any community setting.

She believes strong relationships and community building within the classroom allows for optimal student motivation and achievement. As a consultant, Amber strives to create relationships that foster a comfortable, safe environment for teachers to ask questions, enhance their instruction, and dissect student achievement.
Ashley has her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders, a Master's in Elementary Education, and a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language. Ashley is an experienced educator and consultant that enriches students’ education through the development of the teachers with whom she works. She is passionate about reading development and believes in collaborative relationships and constructive communication. Ashley especially enjoys working one-on-one with teachers to build strong and effective reading instructors.

Laura has twenty eight years in education teaching in both primary and
intermediate classrooms, as well as experience as a District Curriculum
Director, and Professional Developer. She holds undergraduate degrees in
both Elementary and Special Education, a Masters of Arts Degree in
Education, an ELL Teaching Certificate, and a doctorate in I

Education, an ELL Teaching Certificate, and a doctorate in Instructional
Leadership. Laura has served as a master teacher for the state of Missouri
through their Professional Development Program, STARR (Select
Teachers as Regional Resources) as well as being a part of their
Classroom Video Series for the Beginning Teacher Program. She
collaborates well with other educators to make sure that all students are
getting what they need to feel successful in and out of the classroom.
Literacy instruction and what happens in the brains of learners are passion
areas for Laura, and she is excited to share and grow that learning with
others to positively impact instructional strategies in classrooms.
Sherrie holds degrees in elementary education as well as a master's degree in educational administration. Sherrie delivers professional development to area educators in curriculum integration, curriculum writing, best practice instruction, STEM, and all things math. She believes in empowering both educators and students in their authentic learning. Sherrie takes a constructivist, hands-on approach in workshops and professional development. She believes fostering relationships and making connections is one of the main keys to positive student achievement.
Lauren has experience teaching within a variety of school settings including private, public, and charter for over a decade. Her teaching experience began in Ethiopia and she later joined Teach for America where she taught second and fourth grade. She holds degrees in media, international studies, and a Masters degree in education. Laure

The NWEA reading growth data of her fourth graders (2018-2019) exceeded all other schools in its nationwide network. She is looking forward to helping others achieve even greater success within their classrooms by partnering with teachers. She believes teachers make the world go round!
